The first of the Phashionista parties went off without a hiccup! It was super fun! All of the girls had a blast and left with great memories, but most of all… my 10 year old Daughter told me her party was “AWESOME” and she thanked me! She also said she wanted another one there next year! That makes my heart smile! Especially with this being the first trial run 😀
I will start out by saying the pictures here are of THE FIRST party! I have a table being made just for these in true Shabby Chic form (Let’s just see they are being made out of pallets). I also have walls being built to separate the party room and seating areas of my wide open studio space. My future plan is also to install a wood looking floor (that’s a 2K quote :/). I am working on adding more props (donations welcome) for the dress up station. Oh and backdrops, I have lots of ideas and more to come. I plan to have at least 2 backdrop options available for each party. These photos give you a great idea of before my vision is complete. It still makes for a fabulous party!!!
We had Make-up, Hair, and Nails done for each of the girls at my daughters.
Some girls play “Just Dance” on the Xbox Connect, while other got their Make-overs, and others were getting their personalized Photoshoot!
Since I announced these parties a couple months ago, I have been going crazy trying to figure out a price. I’ve decided the best thing to do is start at a base party and let clients build their packages. I will ask you to remember that this party is also like having a photo-shoot mixed in! My job doesn’t stop when the party guest leave, but when all pictures are edited. Editing is a process that takes time and I need to make sure to account for that time as well! I will be looking to hire a “Party Hostess” that is super friendly, able to keep the party going in a timely manner, keep the different events during the party organized (eating verses hair & makeup verses photo session time versus time to cut the cake to time to open presents). Your Party Hostess will also be the “photographer” of the day. ALL EDITING WILL BE LEFT TO ME! I really hope you will choose to party with Photo Phlattery!

Base Photo Phlattery Phashionist Party-
This includes use of the Facilities for 2.5 hours (parents can come 30 minutes early to setup and decorate the studio party space to their liking (so 3 hours total time)).
Photo session with up to 2 outfit changes. Group Shots & Individual Shots of each girl. Picture of Cake and blowing out of candles.
Comes with 30 Edited Images sent to an online gallery for Print Ordering. Each party guest can be given gallery information and order their own prints.
$25.00 per girl (minimum of 6 girls/maximum of 15)
Earlier set up time/ or addition time – $25 per addition 30 minutes
All Photos available for Digital Download with Print Release (perfect for sharing via social media too) – $10 per girl attending party
“natural” pictures while children eat, have hair and make up done, etc (minimum of 20 edited images added to package) $75
Make Up! (mainly eye shadow, liner, mascara, maybe some blush) – $10 per girl (light hair styles included with makeup add on)
Nails Painted – $5.00 per girl
Xbox Connect- Various dance games and other “two-plus” games will be available for guest to play while waiting on their session. This is super fun for the kids and even more fun for the parents to watch! – $45
Food – I recommend ordering Pizza or bringing your food. If you would like me to take the time to order the Pizzas there will be a fee. Please inquire.
CAKE- The Cupcakery of Elizabeth City is my first recommendation! Please add her on Facebook by clicking HERE and shoot her a message letting your know you are attending a Photo Phlattery Fashionista party and she will hook you up with an amazing cake!
Add MORE TIME – Additional hours are $125 per hour
CLEAN UP- This includes taking out all trash to an off premises location (wish I had a dumpster lol), sweeping floor, and returning the Studio into the same state it was when you arrived – $75 (if payment is not received and studio was not cleaned to it’s original state by the client, images will not be edited or sent until clean up fee is received)
What to expect at your Phashionista Party-
As guest enter they will be greeted by your Party Host.
5 minutes after party start time guest will be asked to join around the table and enjoy the food if you are having it with your party. It’s very important to let your guest know to arrive in a timely manner. Girls that arrive earlier can start having Makeup & Hair done if you requested that option. As they finish eating, they will be directed to the make up station too.
30 minutes after party start time your photo sessions will begin! Girls that have hair and make up can go… some can do it while waiting for those things… the Photos will continue until 1 & 1/2 hours after Party start time. Your guest will be instructed to join in singing “Happy Birthday” and cutting of the cake at this point. Finally, your child will be directed to start opening gifts 1 hour and 45 minutes after your party start time. If additional time is purchased… just let us know where you would like to use it! Keeping these parties on track is the best way to insure you have a blast and get your monies worth too!
HOW to Book
To Book your Party a non refundable deposit of $150 is due at booking. This is due to limited spots available! The remainder of Parties package is due 48 hours before the party is to take place. By placing a deposit you are stating that you read this blog in detail and understand the scope of work involved with a Phashionista party and what to expect at your Fashionista party.
You bring your own decorations! I got all of these at our lovely Walmart. It was extremely affordable. (I can use some of these things pictured if needed). If you would like me to decorate the table and party area it will be an addition $75. I do have all of the glass pieces used in the Candy Buffet below that you are welcome to use!
